Every winter, brine sits in the seams of your frame and works inward. By the time it shows on the surface it has been going for years. An annual coating with our lanolin formulas is the most effective way to slow that down — booked once a year, before the salt trucks start.

It creeps into the seams
Woolwax® & Fluid Film® never dry hard. They keep migrating into welds, seams and folded metal — the places corrosion typically starts, and the places a rigid coating never reaches.
It goes inside the panels
The cavity service treats the inside of doors, rocker panels and frame rails using Fluid Film®'s high-penetration formula through factory access holes. It stops rot from the inside out.
It has nothing to crack
A hard coating can chip on winter debris and trap salt water against the metal underneath. Soft lanolin films have no shell to break and nothing to seal moisture behind.

The untinted original formula. Engineered for active capillary creep into enclosed welds, pinched seams, and boxed frame sections where moisture and salt brine hide.
Typically used on: Cavity wand work — inside doors, rocker panels, cab corners, tailgates, and hollow frame rails.

- It chips
- Gravel and winter debris break the shell, and salt water wicks in behind it — held against the metal it was bought to protect.
- It only covers what it can reach
- Sprayed onto the surface. The enclosed cavities where trucks actually rot out are left bare.
- It hides the metal
- You find the corrosion when the shell finally lifts, which is usually several years after it started.
Woolwax® & Fluid Film® do none of those, for one reason: lanolin never hardens.

- It stays soft on purpose
- Woolwax® & Fluid Film® are non-drying lanolin corrosion inhibitors. They remain tacky, creep into seams, collect road dirt, and may drip lightly for a short time after application.
- There is a lanolin smell at first
- A temporary lanolin odor after service is normal and fades. Tell us straight away if you notice smoke, a burning smell, or heavy dripping.
- It is not compatible with everything
- It can soften some existing undercoatings and may cause swelling in certain non-oil-resistant rubber. The inspection before service is where we look at what is already on the vehicle.
- It is protection, not repair
- This is not rust removal, structural repair, or a safety inspection, and it does not restore metal already damaged by corrosion. Existing corrosion can continue to progress.
- We inspect first, then you authorize
- Any pre-existing conditions are identified in an inspection before service, documented, and presented to you for review and authorization before any work begins.
- Nobody can promise a rust-free vehicle
- Coverage may diminish with driving, road debris, washing, and repairs, so periodic inspection, touch-up and reapplication may be needed. We sell the treatment as an annual service: each year's coat is a fresh booking at the price listed then.

How long will my vehicle be in the shop?
Each service lists its time in the shop, and the booking calendar only offers slots long enough to finish the job. A full SUV detail runs about five hours; an undercarriage wash and undercoating about three.
Can I wait while it's done?
For the shorter services, yes. For a full detail you are better off dropping the vehicle and coming back — we will text you when it is ready.
What is the difference between paying in full and paying a deposit?
Both hold your slot. Paying in full means nothing is owed at drop-off. A deposit is 30% now, with the balance due when you collect the vehicle.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before your slot and your payment is refunded in full. Inside 24 hours the deposit covers the bay we held for you.
I booked the car price but I drive an SUV. What happens?
Tell us before you arrive and we will move the booking over — you pay the difference at drop-off. SUV, truck and van interiors take materially longer, which is why they are priced separately.
How often should I reapply undercoating?
Once a year, ideally in late autumn before the roads are salted. Woolwax® & Fluid Film® are rated for up to a full year, so a fresh coat each autumn keeps the seams covered through the salt season.
